L'Oreal Youth Code Luminize Day Cream - The Sunday Girl

As I have been testing the Clinique 3 step range thoroughly I couldn't test this out myself

so I asked my sister to road test this on my behalf as she has oily skin just like myself

and will more than likely have the closest results to me as humanly possible!

So read on to find out how she got on over the course of a month.

L'Oreal Youth Code Luminize Day Cream comes presented in a typical screw top jar

that so many facial products often do- the jar is glass so not ideal for travel

but perfectly adequate to store on a dresser or on a shelf in the home.

The jar's design is fairly simply with a white lid and silver label nothing too fancy

but it in know way looks cheap or tacky.

"Not radiating your usual fresh, youthful glow?

What if you had the 'code' to unify irregular skin tone

and re-awaken a more even luminous looking complexion?

Irregular pigmentation beneath the skin's surface can reduce skin's luminosity."

L'Oreal Youth Code Luminize Day Cream is a light silky gel like potion that has a pearlescent glow to it.

Once applied to the skin it absorbs instantly and soaks in within seconds leaving behind no greasy residue.

The cream does have a light scent but it is really faint and did not irritate my sensitive skin in any way.

The great thing about L'Oreal Youth Code Luminize Day Cream is that it instantly perks up the skin

with a luminous glow very much like a highlighter does but with a more subtle approach - no shimmer/glitter!

Neither I nor my sister use a night cream as most are far too rich for our oily skins to handle

but this cream is light yet intense enough to be used both day and night,

infact it is actually recommended that you use it for such purposes

as it provides enough hydration to allowing you to awaken to slightly more luminous skin.

Of course to see best results with a skin care product you do have to use it over a period of time but

this serum instantly hydrates and provides a light dewy glow to the skin.

After a week it aims to reduce the appearance of irregular pigmentation

and gives the skin a brighter, fresher appearance.

My sister can not vouch for the irregular pigmentation as she doesn't have anything of the sort to test

but it certainly does perk up the skin and gives a healthy glow without being over the top.

After a month it does state that the same results will be had only more intensified

and my sister completely agrees that her skin does looks so much brighter and illuminated.

L'Oreal Youth Code Luminize Day Cream (S) is available from selected L'oreal stockists

such as Superdrug - link 50ml/£9.99
