Boots no 7 Day Cream Normal/Dry Skin Review

I've been a fan of No 7 skincare for a while and usually use their Protect and Perfect day cream with SPF as a day to day moisturiser, but as I needed a new pot I thought I would give another cream in the no 7 range a try. The packaging is sleek and minimal and I think although it comes in a plastic pot it looks quite high end and luxurious.

The cream is enriched with Rosehip oil to help moisturise the skin, there are other creams in the range to suit different skin types as well if you don't have dry skin like mine.

The formulation felt rich and what I always look for in a moisturiser is that it has an SPF to protect my skin, this one has SPF 15, is hypo-allergenic and 5 star UVA technology which is great as you are safe in the knowledge that it is protecting you from the sun's rays and keeping those wrinkles at bay!

I have to say I'm a little disappointed with this cream. I had to put two layers on my face for my skin to feel properly moisturised and I didn't feel it was a moisturising as it said. On the plus side, it did sink in very quickly and give a good base for my make up as it wasn't greasy at all. I think it would be perfect for people with a slightly dry but not very dry skin, and for those who don't want a heavy feeling cream. I wasn't wowed by this, and think I will be re-purchasing my old faithful Protect and Perfect Day Cream in the future see here, as although it's more expensive, I think it really delivers. The Beautful Skin moisturiser is priced at £12.50, and is available at Boots, it is currently included in a 3 for 2 offer just now as well.
