As a faithful shopper, Garnier is one of my favourite brands for skincare. As a majorly senstive skin sufferer i am overally aware of what i put on my skin and spend alot of time reading the claims of a product or brand. After reaching the end of my second beloved johnsons night cream, i was torn between repurchasing or trying something knew. Whilst out shopping i spotted this in amongst the endless creams, lotions and more. I was drawn in by the lovely feminie packaging and the recognition of the line of skincare, having previously experienced the soft essentials line i knew this moisturiser was sure to live up to the claims.
It did not dissapoint. Once i opened the box, i was surprised to see very minimal claims on the product itself, with simply the brand and product name & few ingredients, i was impressed - simplicity at it's best. I found the tub a slightly odd shape but the colour is perfect for any typical girly girl.
Now the product itself? The scent, a soft feminine smell, that would suit all types of customers as it's not "too young" or "smells like old ladies" but just pleasant. The scent doesnt linger once on the skin which i find is key for many women. A fairly thick consistency but nothing that feels too heavy on the skin, infact its the perfect consistency for a day cream, slightly thicker than most but providing extra hydration for dry skin i find its wonderful for me. I have trialled this for several days now and its safe to say, like with the rest of the line - i am a fan! It has provided my skin with some much needed extra hydration in these bitter days. It has given my skin a lovely healthy finish providing a brillianty even base for my makeup.
