Olay and Max Factor recently joined forces to bring us Olay Complete Care Touch of Foundation Even Complexion Day Cream with SPF 15. What’s awesome about this product is it basically gives us the goodness of Olay’s skincare science and expertise combined with the beautiful and flawless makeup expertise from Max Factor all beautifully combined in one little bottle.
The foundation comes in a pump dispenser packaging which makes it an easy and convenient one to lug around minus the mess of an open bottle. Despite being a foundation, I’ve found Olay Complete Care Touch of Foundation to be rather like a tinted moisturiser in that it provides sheer to medium coverage – which of course I love, since I’m such a fan of light textured foundations.
It has a lightweight feel and light fluid texture which applies easily and smoothly on skin. The shade I received as a PR sample was a medium which is perfect for my skin tone. Apart from being lightweight, this beautiful foundation has a beautiful fragrance that’s accustomed to most Olay products which is a pleasant touch that isn’t too overwhelming. Certainly sensitive skin types should beware of this fact.
Given that it the product also has Olay’s labor of love in it as well, the product is certainly an incredibly moisturising one that does not go on greasy or oily halfway through the day. The foundation lasts throughout the work day for me and works beautifully even throughout the hottest of days in summer, without giving me that cakey or ashen look. The finish is dewy and overall I’d say that this is a great drugstore buy for the same coverage and feel afforded by some of the major departmental store buys. Why splurge when you can skimp for the same awesome product? 
If I had to have one gripe about it, it’d be the limited foundation shade as it only comes in fair or medium. However, that’s certainly not a deterrent as you can always mix it with other foundation shades for the right colour. I’ve certainly done that before for a lot of my other foundations. However, doing a little mixing certainly adds on to your morning task which I suppose takes off the simple and fuss free beauty routine we’re all trying to achieve these days.
